'I Like' was one of the first tracks I wrote in the style. While the chords are actually kinda simple, the song is based on a rather complex groove in 12/8. lyrics
Every day was just the same,
I had no face, I had no name,
Couldn't tell no right from wrong,
until one day you came along.
I like, I like, I like, I like,
the way you move, the way you smile.
I like, I like, I like, I like,
the way you are to me,
the way you are to me...
You had the charm, you had the look,
one smile from you is all it took.
Head over heels I lost my mind,
'cause to me you are one of a kind!
I like, I like, I like, I like,
the way you move, the way you smile.
I like, I like, I like, I like,
the way you are to me,
the way you are to me...
